Flag Program
An easy subscription, and a Rotarian will install a Canadian flag outside your house for:
- Canada Day (July 1st)
- BC Day (Aug Long Weekend)
- Labour Day (Sept Long Weekend)
On these holidays we’ll place a Canadian flag prior to the long weekend and retrieve it after a few days, even if you are away for the actual weekend!
There isn’t a better way to show your patriotism than a flag on your lawn during the most Canadian of Holidays, and you won’t have to lift a finger!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. How long will my flag be up for?
A: We strive to have them up for 5-7 days for each of the promised weekends. We strive for Wednesday to Wednesday over the weekend. (Canada Day can differ)
Q: What does the price cover?
A: The cost is $50 for all 3 weekends. We will reach out each year to see if you want to participate again.
Q: Where do the funds go?
A: The Rotary Satellite Club of Langley Central Sunset (a long name we know) will use these money to fund worthy projects in the Langley community.
Q: When is the last day to order for a weekend?
A: We will process orders up to the last Wednesday before a holiday to respect the time of volunteers doing the routes.
Q: Can we have it setup on more weekends?
A: Due to logistics of setting up and taking down a large number of flags, we cannot accommodate requests for other weekends. Sorry!
Q: Do you prorate if we miss a weekend?
A: As you can imagine, quality flags and equipment are expensive! For this reason, we can’t prorate if you join the program late in the year.
Q: Can I have more than 1 flag in my yard?
A: Of course! You can have as many as you want! Or should we say as many as you want to pay for? Each additional flag is also $50.
Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay through our Square site by debit or credit card. Other methods are available, You could also write a cheque, but we’ll have to meetup in person for that!
