Ribfest Langley 2023 is coming back August 18-20th

Ribfest Langley 2023 is coming back August 18-20th to McLeod Athletic Park and we are looking for volunteers. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a fantastic event for the community and have some fun. If you are an individual, group, organization or student looking for volunteer hours we have something you can do. From serving drinks to helping set up tables and tents, you choose what fits best for you. To register and see more details please visit the Volunteer section of the Ribfest Langley website. “The Langley Ribfest is returning August 18-20, 2023 and we are looking for sponsors to take advantage of this great family event and marketing opportunity. 2022 saw over 37,000 people of all ages joining in the fun at McLeod field in Langley over three days. 2023 will be even bigger!

“Rotary helps develop leaders and RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), one of our best leadership programs, is an awesome weekend helping young people develop stronger leadership skills.

It’s being held in person at Zajac Ranch in Mission, BC, Canada from Friday, May 12 to Monday, May 16, 2023.

Anyone including employers, please consider the young adults who could benefit from this weekend.

Yesterday Rotarians and their guests celebrated In

Yesterday Rotarians and their guests celebrated International Women’s Day with a luncheon and guest speaker at Newlands Golf & Country Club. Guest speaker Rea Klar is at Trinity Western studying to be a doctor. In 2022 she was selected as an observer for the Christian Climate Observers Program and travelled to Egypt where she attended the United Nations COP27 a Climate Change Conference. She gave her perspective on how the future of women and girls is brighter due to the efforts of women’s efforts in the past.

Proud to be associated with an organization that helps others 🌎 The clip (see link in bio) shows one of the containers of medical equipment that Rotary World Help sent to the Ukraine in cooperation with the local Ukrainian community in and around Vancouver. We have sent several 40 ft containers of medical equipment including the most recent, containing hospital beds, mattresses and other medical equipment and supplies about two weeks ago. 👏 Awesome work Rotary World Help for collecting, storing and shipping these goods that are so very much needed.
