Flag Program FAQ

Q: How Long are the Flags up for?
A: We strive to have them up for 5-7 days for each of the promised weekends. We strive for Wednesday to Wednesday over the weekend. (Canada Day can differ)

Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost is $50 for all 3 weekends. We will reach out each year to see if you want to participate again.

Q: Where do the funds go?
A: The Rotary Satellite Club of Langley Central Sunset (a long name we know) will use these money to fund worthy projects in the Langley community.

Q: When is the last day to order for a weekend?
A: Due to the need to order your flag, we must have your order 2 weeks before the weekend it’s needed.

Q: Can we have it setup on more weekends?
A: Due to logistics of setting up and taking down a large number of flags, we cannot accommodate requests for other weekends. Sorry!

Q: Do you prorate if we miss a weekend?
A: As you can imagine, quality flags and equipment are expensive! For this reason, we can’t prorate if you join the program late in the year.

Q: Can I have more than 1 flag in my yard?
A: Of course! You can have as many as you want! Or should we say as many as you want to pay for? Each additional flag is also $50.

Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay by e-transfer (please make sure the name on the account is the same as the name you gave us via the online form) or Credit Card (using our Square site)! You could also write a cheque, but we’ll have to meetup in person for that!
